ABOUT THE COURSE
This course is an introduction to Cloud Computing and Blockchain Technologies, which are reshaping traditional business models and systems. The elasticity feature of cloud computing helps enterprises deliver the right amount of IT resources on a "pay-per-license" model and helps them invest in the right resources. On the other hand, the technology infrastructure introduced with the famous cryptocurrency "Bitcoin" changes how businesses function. This technology infrastructure, called Blockchain, takes away the notion of the traditional model of trust with the organizations to the mathematically verifiable platform. This course covers the basics of cloud computing, such as cloud deployment and service models, Amazon Web Services, Security, distributed databases, HDFS, Cryptography primitives, introduction to Blockchain, Private and public Blockchain systems, Distributed ledgers, Bitcoin protocols, Ethereum, etc. This course will benefit those who wish to explore the disruptive potentials of cloud computing and blockchain technology and incorporate the concepts in their business or projects.
